The park is well known for its huge population of elephants, who bathe in the waters of the Chobe River. Explore the park on a game drive in open safari vehicles. In the late afternoon, choose to embark on an optional boat cruise on the Chobe River. Spot the hippos, crocodiles, elephants and various birds, often seen on the river banks. At sunset why not enjoy on a river cruise whilst sipping on a sundowner drink. Dinner and overnight stay in Kasane. *Optional Sunset Cruise on Chobe River: This magnificent cruise down the Chobe River is the best way to see the highest population of African elephants in the world in their natural habitat. At lunchtime stop for a picnic on one of the islands before you venture on a nature walk to sport wildlife and learn about the delta, its plants, animals and the tribes living here. Feel the peace and spirit of the Okavango while watching hippos and elephants swim. Return to Maun by sunset. Overnight stay in Maun.
