Use TripFinder as a comparison source.

TripFinder.ca is a Canadian tour comparison and advisor service. Public trip pages, guides and comparison links are readable without an account. The interface below returns the same public supplier facts used by a selected comparison; it does not generate AI recommendations or create a booking.

Retrieve up to four trips

Send a GET request to /catalog/compare.json, with one repeated trip parameter per trip slug and optional currency=CAD or currency=USD. CAD is the default. Find trip slugs in the canonical links on Browse trips or the sitemap.

Response and interpretation

Schema version 1.0 returns canonical URLs, operators, source and observation dates, routes, group and age facts, meals, accommodation, transport, itinerary and price basis. Null and empty values are unknown or not supplied. International flight status is included, excluded, selectable or unconfirmed. It is separate from internal flights.

Prices are indicative per-person catalog starting prices, not a confirmed quote for the next departure. Departure results contain at most 12 dates; departureCount and departuresTruncated describe the complete fetched calendar. Availability labels describe the supplier data, not guaranteed bookability. CAD and USD requests are cached separately.

Limits and citations

Requests support one to four public trips and are read-only. Invalid requests return 400, unknown or withdrawn trips 404, and temporary data failures 503. Responses may be cached for five minutes; supplier facts are normally cached for up to 30 minutes after retrieval. Avoid repeated bulk requests. Cite the canonical trip URLs and dates; explain meaningful gaps instead of filling them in.
