The adventure
Get to know a different side of New Zealand's North and South Islands. Discover the north's geothermal landscapes and Maori culture, shuck oysters in Ohiwa Harbour and maybe go whitewater rafting in Rotorua. Follow the Forgotten World Highway to the quirky Republic of Whangamomona, hike on a volcano and head underground to see glowworms. In the south, explore millions of years of natural history between Christchurch and Queenstown, and sail the silent waters of Milford Sound in the glacier-carved Fiordland National Park. Hike to coastal caves, then listen for the call of the kiwi on Stewart Island. This all-encompassing New Zealand journey has just the right amount of active adventure and time to relax.
