On this trip, you’ll live like one of the region’s (incredibly lucky) locals, discovering the small towns, mountain trails, and local customs of this uniquely beautiful place. Explore the ruins of Pompeii in the morning, hike the coastline of the Mediterranean by afternoon, and tuck into bed at your converted 17th-century monastery home base at sundown. It's paradise, found.

Start the day with a G Adventures supported migrant-led tour of Naples. Afterwards, travel to Pompeii to enjoy a guided tour of the partially buried ruins before transferring to a beautiful agriturismo nestled in the hills above the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy a delicious home cooked Italian dinner and one of two cooking demonstrations.

Enjoy a free day to relax or explore at your own pace. For those interested, there is an option to book transport to visit the beautiful town of Ravello, perched high above the Mediterranean. Take in breathtaking coastal views, wander through its charming streets, or visit historic villas and gardens.

Day 5Set off on the famous "Path…

Set off on the famous "Path of the Gods" along the Amalfi Coast, finishing up in quaint Positano. Take a scenic ferry ride along the coast to Amalfi, then return to the agriturismo in time for a well deserved dinner.

Day 6Enjoy some down time to explore the area…Today is a free day for you to enjoy more sites of your choice along the Amalfi Coast. We have details of more beautiful walks in the area if you would like to do another day's hiking. Amalfi's famous historic cathedral should not be missed, or simply hit the beach for some R&R.
