Accommodation

Monteverde accommodation: Due to the location of lodges in Monteverde, the high humidity causes rooms to fluctuate in temperature. We suggest keeping clothing and personal items closed in your suitcase to avoid getting damp. The closest village or activities are a 15-20 minute walk from the lodge, with some up and down hills. Due to the remoteness of the lodges, water in taps and showers can take longer than normal to heat up.
