Day 2Visit Mto wa Mbu village enjoying a guided…After breakfast continue on to Mto wa Mbu which means Mosquito River. Here we take a cultural walk to learn more about typical village life. After, feast on a traditional lunch before continuing on to Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife viewing in the park. This area is truly stunning, as the western wall of the Rift Valley escarpment provides a backdrop for your search of the park's bird life, tree-climbing lions, elephant, hippo and baboons. The afternoon is spent wildlife viewing along the main road that winds through a lush cool forest dominated by large fichus trees covered in bromeliads and ferns.

Visit the G Adventures-supported Clean Cookstove Project and meet the local women who have installed clean cookstoves throughout the communities. Experience the impact of cooking over an open fire in a confined mud hut before witnessing the transformation that occurs when a clean cookstove is installed. Learn more about this project along with details about the day-to-day lives of the Masai. Reach the Serengeti in late afternoon just in time for a wildlife safari drive en route to our camp.

Embark on a morning wildlife safari drive in our compact, safari 4x4, with a pop-up roof for optimal wildlife observation. Opt to take a sunrise balloon safari.
Day 5Continue wildlife viewing on the drive out…Serengeti
SerengetiContinue wildlife viewing on the drive out of the Serengeti to our comfortable tented camp. Relax this evening enjoying the African sunset with a cool drink overlooking the watering hole.
Day 6Depart early into Ngorongoro CraterArusha
ArushaDepart early into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a wildlife safari drive and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Arusha for the final night.
