Day 1Day 1: Arrive CopenhagenWhether you begin your tour strolling through town to the old harbour with its Little Mermaid, taking a canal boat trip, visiting design and antique shops or enjoying a drink and dinner at Nyhavn, the charm of Denmark’s capital will put you in the mood for the coming days. Most places of interest are easily accessible on foot, by bus or by bike in Copenhagen and it is definitely worth staying longer in this beautiful city, either before or after your cycle trip. You will find your rental bikes already stored in the hotel.

Day 2Day 2: Cycle to Helsingør visiting Bellevue beach…From Copenhagen you head north on mostly dedicated cycle ways along the Öresund, the strait between Zealand in Denmark and Schonen in Sweden. As you pedal you will always have a view of Baltic Sea. Along the way you reach the famous beach Bellevue, in Copenhagen's northern limits. Here you can stop for a refreshing dip in the cool waters before continuing to Helsingør and your hotel. In Helsingør you can visit Kronborg Castle, considered the inspiration for Elsinore, home of Shakespeare's Hamlet, or take a 20 minute ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden, interesting for its medieval centre and the Kärnan tower.

The coastal resorts of Hornbæk and Gilleleje will charm you and offer a great location for a mid-morning coffee. Later the route takes you away from the coast and past extensive nature reserves and small lakes en route to Helsinge or Hillerød. In Hillerød you can visit Frederiksborg Castle, based around a lake and baroque gardens, which is considered the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia.
Take some time to visit the old port city of Helsingør before continuing your bike ride. Day 4Day 4: Cycle a coastal route to Hundested or Højby (65km/40mi)Today you cycle along a coastal route that takes you past the small idyllic villages of Tisvildeleje and Liseleje as well as numerous beaches to reach your destination, Højby. The town is located on the opposite side of the Isefjord. The ferry ticket to cross to Rørvig is included in the trip cost. Today you can choose between 2 options. One variant takes you back to the coast, where the small idyllic villages Tisvildeleje and Liseleje as well as numerous beaches exude their charm. Another route can take you inland via city of Frederiksværk to today's destination - Hundested or Højby. The latter is located on the opposite side of the Isefjord. The ferry ticket to Rørvig is included.

Enjoy the breathtaking views all along the coast of Isefjord, Lammefjord and Holbækfjord. Today's destination is the port city of Holbæk, first mentioned in 1199. Here we recommend visiting the Protestant-Lutheran Church of St Nikolai.
