Day 2Discover Kangaroo IslandBegin the day at Cape Willoughby Conservation Park, home to South Australia’s oldest operational lighthouse. Explore the visitor centre and museum, then wander the lighthouse grounds for sweeping coastal views. Continue to Kangaroo Island Wool for a mill tour and immersive cinematic experience inside Australia’s only 9-metre Igloo Dome, where the story of the island’s wool heritage unfolds from early settlement to the farmers who continue the tradition today. You’ll also meet the people behind this enduring local industry. Later, visit Kangaroo Island Brewery, where your host Mike crafts beer using rainwater collected from the roof of his shed. Enjoy a tasting paddle, or sip wine or cider, as you settle in for a relaxed afternoon.

Day 3Remarkable Rocks and Seal BayWonderful landscapes, remarkable wildlife and local flavours take centre stage. Begin at Remarkable Rocks, where rust-coloured granite boulders, shaped over 500 million years, rise above the Southern Ocean in dramatic fashion. Your next stop is Admirals Arch in Flinders Chase National Park, where New Zealand fur seals sprawl across the rocks below. At Seal Bay Conservation Park, watch playful seals tumble across the sand and slip into the surf just metres away on a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience. After a delicious two-course lunch, Peter at Island Beehive will dish up samples of the honey (and delicious honey ice-cream) he makes here using Ligurian bees. They’re found on KI, and nowhere else in Australia. Meanwhile, the owners of Islander Estate Vineyard will pour you a glass or two and talk through the production of their wines.
