Float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra and wander through the breathtaking Siq tunnel passage, then experience Bedouin culture in the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. By the end of your time in Jordan, you'll wonder how it's stayed off the radar for so long.

Day 1Arrival dayArrivalThere are no planned activities until an evening welcome meeting followed by an optional group dinner. Amman is a very big city and there is not one central area to stay - hotels are spread out across various neighbourhoods within the city. For this reason, to move around the city in your free time, you will have to take a taxi, please feel free to ask your CEO for recommendations and assistance.

Day 2Depart by private vehicle for a short drive…Petra
PetraDepart by private vehicle for a short drive to the Dead Sea. Visit to a G Adventures-supported community cafe for lunch before continuing on to Petra.
Day 3Start early to visit iconic Petra
PetraStart early to visit iconic Petra. Enjoy a guided walking tour with your CEO, then opt to hike up to the top of the treasury or explore on your own. This evening, opt to visit a Turkish bath or visit Petra by night.
Day 4Opt to visit Little Petra in the morning…Drive to Wadi Rum, a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds and the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert landscapes. Head deep into the desert by 4x4 stopping at famous landmarks along the way. Arrive to the tented camp in time for a traditional meal and learn more about this ancient culture. There is a large, central tent that is traditionally decorated and perfect for relaxing or escaping the cold nights in winter. Our dinner is prepared in traditional fashion, with the meat and vegetables cooked in an underground oven. Soft drinks and water are available for purchase. Lanterns light the way but we do suggest you bring a flashlight.

Day 5Journey to the Red SeaDrive to the Red Sea resort city of Aqaba. Enjoy free time to enjoy the beach, go snorkelling or check out the city. Make sure to try some fresh seafood for dinner.

Day 6Travel by private vehicle north to the town…
Travel by private vehicle north to the town of Madaba. In the afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the area including a visit to nearby Mount Nebo.
Day 7Take a short trip by private vehicle back…Amman
AmmanTake a short trip by private vehicle back to Amman and enjoy a free day to explore the city.
