Day 5RovaniemiThis morning, travel to Halipuu Forest. When you arrive, meet the family that owns the land and hear about their efforts to spread awareness of nature conservation and how they work to save trees from being cut down. Hug a few trees (as the locals do) before being wrapped in a hammock for a Finnish experience of arctic cocooning. After, sit down for a warm cup of hot chocolate and a lunch around the fire of lapp-dogs (reindeer sausages wrapped in bread dough, roasted on the campfire). Later, travel to Rovaniemi, where you’ll stay for the next two nights.
